Qualifying Vehicles

This policy covers vehicles that are less than 16 years old and that have travelled less than 225,000 kms at the commencement of cover.

Claim Limits

Generous claim limits are applied to every claim, dependant on the mileage of the vehicle at time of sale.

Excess

An excess must be paid in respect of every claim.

Servicing

All vehicles need maintenance and servicing. To keep this policy valid you are required to have your vehicle serviced in accordance with the terms of the policy.

A - STANDARD VEHICLES: Excess $100 or $200

Petrol powered vehicles other than those described in B & C and not listed in Excluded Vehicles.

B - SPECIAL CATEGORY VEHICLES: Excess $250

  • Turbo vehicles
  • Diesel vehicles
  • Supercharged vehicles
  • Hybrid vehicles
  • Vehicles manufactured in the USA

C - EUROPEAN VEHICLES: Excess $350

Diesel or Petrol powered vehicles manufactured in Europe including but not limited to: Alfa Romeo, Audi, BMW, Citroen, Daimler, Fiat, Jaguar, Lancia, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mini, Opel, Peugeot, Renault, Rover, Saab, Seat, Skoda, Vauxhall, Volvo and Volkswagen.

Servicing Requirements

All vehicles must be serviced within the following distance or period, whichever occurs first from when the vehicle is purchased:

  • Petrol powered vehicles must be serviced every 15,000km or 12 months.
  • Diesel powered vehicles must be serviced every 10,000km or 12 months.

Protection

The reasonable cost to repair the actual failure of mechanical or electrical parts as a result of a sudden and unforeseen breakdown that occurs during normal use unless otherwise excluded as per the policy booklet.

This very comprehensive protection is enhanced to include: AIRBAGS, SUSPENSION, WIRING LOOMS, FACTORY FITTED AUDIO, SUNROOF, OIL, FLUIDS, FILTERS, GASKETS

Additional Benefits

  • Accommodation, rental car, return home & vehicle repatriation

If your vehicle takes more than 24 hours to repair and you are more than 100kms away from your home you may choose from the following, subject to a maximum claim limit of $1,500.

  • Up to 10 days Accommodation; or
  • Up to 10 days Rental Car hire costs; or
  • Return Home costs (such as air fares); or
  • Repatriation costs for your vehicle up to $500.

AA Roadservice

Towing, Flat Battery, Lockout Service, Lost Keys, Flat Tyres, Out of Fuel provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Qualifying Vehicles

Vehicles 12 years old and less that have travelled less than 150,000 kms at the commencement of cover falling into the following categories:

A - STANDARD VEHICLES:
EXCESS $100 CLAIM LIMIT = Unlimited

Petrol powered vehicles other than those described in B & C and not listed in Excluded Vehicles.

B - SPECIAL CATEGORY VEHICLES:
EXCESS $250 CLAIM LIMIT = $12,000

  • Diesel vehicles
  • Supercharged vehicles
  • Hybrid vehicles
  • Vehicles manufactured in the USA

C - EUROPEAN VEHICLES
